A: While in many applications it is possible to replace partially hydrogenated oils with other types of oil this is not always the case. The chocolate coating in these products requires very specific characteristic in the fat used to function correctly. Currently there are no acceptable alternatives to partially hydrogenated oil that provide the needed characteristics.
